"Over this summer, I have now finished refitting all the body panels and windows, repaired/replaced all brake and suspension components. I have had all the chromework, re-chromed and is now all refitted. The rear axle, front steering and suspension, and gearbox have all been refurbished. All wheels have been repainted and new Bridgestone tyres fitted. Fully rewired with lamps now all fitted, as well as all the dashboard components, and period clock in the glovebox lid. I am now on with rebuilding the sidevalve engine with all new bearing shells, piston rings, valves and all gaskets. Once this is all done and refitted in the car, I have just then got to fit the interior trim, carpets and seat covers. I am hoping that the car will be ready for shows next year with all the exterior done. It has been to one show this year at Sandtoft with the North Lincs MMOC Branch as a restoration project but sadly had to be trailered there which it received a lot of attention especially when the bonnet was up revealing a pristine but empty engine bay.
